Eva Henje

Eva Henje MD, PhD is a senior specialist and professor in child and adolescent psychiatry at Umeå University in Sweden. Her research is focused on finding better ways to treat depression in young people and also in a series of studies conducted at UCSF in contemplative neuroscience. She is trained in several trauma therapy modalities such as tfCBT, EMDR, IFS and DBR as well as in MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD and Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy. She has spearheaded a study investigating the effect of MDMA-assisted therapy for depression in young adults conducted in Oslo and has been a co-investigator in the PSIPET study at Karolinska. She has been a learning mentor at Synthesis Facilitator Training and in this context assisted in psychedelic retreats in the Netherland.
